DIFFERENT BIKE

Steram liners (for top speed in the world but not for streets)

Fastest also means highest top speed not 1/4 mile times, that would be quickest. Since the manufacturers agreed to a top speed limit of 186 MPH, for the time being none will go faster than another.

The fastest MASS production bike would be the 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa BEFORE the motorcycle manufacturers agreed to 186 mph top speed limit, to appease the European lawmakers. It went 192-197 mph depending on who tested it.

The Y2K bike is available, but at $150,000 isn't going to be made in more than a handfull of numbers. (5 per year accordin to their website) Powered by a helicopter turbine engine, putting out 325 HP and 425 ft/lbs, it's listed in the latest guiness book of records for going about 227 mph.

The Chrysler tomahawk hasn't ever been demonstrated to go over highway speed. Wasn't sold to anyone as a runner, and with 4 wheels, is it a car?

Check southern california speed association website for the records for motorcycles, but as been listed above some are well above 300mph. Of course these were streamliners and not capable of driving on public roads
